This work is an impressionist take on a popular topic by Demola the depiction of the transport system/ network and its impact on people. Here our eyes are drawn to the iconic yellow buses of Lagos (like the yellow cabs of New York) that are blocks the road. The viewer is made to focus on the buses and the movement around them – hence they (buses) have been represented in bright colours. The surrounding areas are blurred in soft colours.
