Inspired by the Bronze heads from Ile Ife. Discovered in 1938, after being buried for over 7 Centuries, the bronze cast heads showed how advanced our West African Art was for such an old relic. At a time were historians would not have attributed such artistic workmanship to our civilization. The idea of using the images of the Oba of Ife head in a pop art style Kaleidoscope was the aim behind this work.
