Its functionality, beauty or it’s a composition that hits you in the solar plexus when you come across it even when taking a casual look at the design. Even with a relaxed gaze, it hits you. The stark dramatic black cube protruding from the building arrests not only the eye but the imagination of the beholder. Finished with a matted material, it invites the hand to follow the eye to caress the texture, only which it is too far away. The texture of the black cube relieves the building of being too slick and thus differentiates from having a commercial look. Another subtle inference from the black cube is that the colour presupposes that it is heavy and therefore suggests that ingenious engineering is holding it up. Only a small window by the side relieves the mass of matted black cube and this accentuates the size of the section because of the contrast.
