The celebrants have reached the boundary between the living and the dead where they were being received by the elders of Amogudu community who also poured drinks to the ancestors for sparing their lives during their sojourn in the jungle. Even though the area is now well developed, it is still considered the boundary between the living and the dead. After the prayers, the celebrants present live goat and tubers of yam to their senior age grades who are guiding them through the processes.
