Taiwo’s eye for detail is evident in this piece. A depiction of still life and an interpretation of a striped landscape dotted with leafless trees in the midst of a swamp and metaphorically in search of life. The tone of the painting also suggests some kind fiery action that consumed what was present and at the same time reflecting images of hope and survival. The swamp and mangrove literally represents abundance of water, trees, aquatic life and the sustenance of what is embedded within and his painting can also be read as showing a reflection of how man have impacted heavily on the environment and with it offers to humanity.
