Emorhokpor’s depiction of a woman having traditional hair plait is a romantic take on African heritage. It highlights our endearment to an age-old tradition that has played a role in underpinning the African culture and heritage. The women are intertwined in giant hair plaits that tower over them and serve as a shed from the midday sun.
