Olumide Onadipe was born on 24 October 1982 in Lagos. He received an NCE in Fine and Applied in 2004 at the Federal College of Education, Akoka Lagos. He later attained a Bachelors degree in Education at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (2008) and a Masters degree in Visual Arts/ Art Education at the University of Lagos in 2012.

He is a member of several art organizations including the Society of Nigerian Artists, Visual Arts Society of Nigeria (VASON), Decreative Minds and the Artzero Group. Olumide’s two independent presentations include Twist and Twirls (2015) and A Tale Within (2013) both at the Pan Atlantic University Lagos.

Olumide’s major collaborations include Colours of Hope in partnership with the Cancer Foundation (CLWCF), Children Living with Cancer Foundation (2014), American Nigerian Cultural Collaborative Project, US Consulate and Nike Art Gallery Lagos (2013),  Beyond Boundaries, Nubuke Foundation, Accra (2013), October Rain, Nike Art Gallery, Lagos (2011) and Dialogue Between Cultures, National Museum Lagos (2009) to commemorate 50 years of cultural relations between Nigeria and France.  His other partnerships include Art on the mainland, National Gallery of Arts Lagos (2006), Within Our Grasp, National Museum Lagos (2005) and Experience Nigeria, National Museum Lagos (2004).
