Kenechukwu Nwatu is a Nigerian photographer and filmmaker. Over the past few years, he has obtained professional certifications both in film and photography, the most recent being from the Montana State University.
He focuses on Religious and Social Justice themes, especially mental health, and his work has been featured in local and international publications such as Vogue.com, Africa Report and Guardian Life Magazine. In 2017, he had his first photography exhibition with the Alliance Francais and he participated in the trans-Nigerian road trip “Borders Within II” by Invisible Borders.
Currently, Kene spends most of his time exploring the south-west region of Nigeria by road.
