Kayode Oluwa is a Nigerian contemporary artist, who hails from Isale Eko area, of Lagos Island, Lagos State. He started Photography in his 3rd year as an undergraduate of Public Administration, from Lagos State University (LASU), as a hobby but later finds it more interesting during his National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) in Zamfara State. His quest for knowledge and how photography can be used as a weapon of Change (Positively), got him the opportunity to be part of Shell/Lagos Photo master class in 2015, with Akintunde Akinyele of Reuters, Victor Ehikhamenor and Uche Opka-Iroha of Nlele Institute as facilitators.
He focuses on everyday people, life, and culture, photographing them in Portrait style in their natural habitat.

He is an alumnus of Nlele Institutes, he believes in studying the past, to understand the present and documenting it for the future. He is working on a number of long-term projects such as Resilience, Idejo, he is currently documenting political representation of Sola Giwa (representative Lagos Island Constituency II), honourable member Lagos House of Assembly.
