Eloghosa Osunde
Eloghosa Osunde is a Nigerian writer and visual artist whose work revolves around mental health, sexuality and the psychology of identity and interpersonal intimacies.
Eloghosa graduated from the University of Nottingham, UK in 2015. She is an alumna of the Farafina Creative Writing Workshop and has studied screenwriting at New York Film Academy. Her selection of vignettes ‘Shapes’ has been edited and published online by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and her short memoir ‘Don’t Let It Bury You’ was published in Catapult. As part of the Writivism Mentorship Program, Eloghosa worked with 2016 Caine Prize winner Lididumalingani Mqombothi on her story story ‘And Morning Will Come,’ which was later longlisted for the 2017 Writivism Short Story Prize.
Her visual art series ‘And Now We Have Entered Broken Earth’ has been exhibited across three continents this year; selected for the New York Times Portfolio Review and for Photoville 2017, as curated by The New York Times. She recently received a 2017 Miles Morland Scholarship to work on her debut novel.
