Initially, Slime Sunday was a reference to my collection. In this collection, I merged scribble lines of different individual portraits in different moods and state of mind with popsicle tears.
I started this artwork with the aim to grow, to improve my skills and also for the genesis of new and different scribbles. But on ending it, I saw the finished work in another light, it depicted ‘The pain behind smiles’. This implies that “behind a smile is everything you’ll never understand. Although, all pieces do not contain smiles because each piece to me seemed like different individuals in a different state of mind. Hence, one thing in common is the popsicle tears.
