The painting shows the connection between people and spaces.  Most local food markets are embedded within commercial towns because of the human density and demography.  The idea is to meet the urgent domestic needs of the mass by transporting agricultural products from the hinterlands.  The cities and the rural areas compensate for each other as they serve their needs in this daily trade and commerce.
