From one flower to the other a butterfly moves without concern for restrictions. This symbolizes how much we want to be free as humans. We want to act without limitations. We want to move and go places without violence and terrorism. It is not that possible but we crave for it. The female figure in the painting and a butterfly almost perching on her lips is a symbol of beauty and liberty. The figure is in deep thoughts which is unlimited and cannot be caged. Such deep thought can change our society if only our freedom of expression (the tongue) is well controlled and not tamed. This organ of speech should not be used for slander, backbiting, abuse, curse or lie, to plan evil or promote violence and terror in our society. Just as the butterfly helps in pollinating the flowers and the flowers develops to produce beautiful appearances, so also all in our society should allow the freedom to use their lips and tongue responsibly for beautiful expressions.
