The painting shows a dirt path leading and tapering toward a cluster of houses. Imoesi uses earthy colours in combination with primary and secondary colours to portray a real environmental situation mostly seen in urban and rural areas in developing countries. Poor infrastructure is the bane of underdevelopment were proceeds from abundant natural resources have been misappropriated.  The dirt path here, also metaphorically suggests the struggles and toil countries with these resources experience as they search for nationhood.
