The devastating impact of war is immeasurable and takes the toll on minors as most of them experience sexual abuse.  This painting questions early childbirth and also the issues of minors given to marriage.  These are the insecurities in the Nigerian state as no provision is made to protect vulnerable persons in the times of war and other emergencies. A painting from the Displacement series which investigates the harsh realities of people found in IDP (Internally Displaced People) camps across the North Eastern part of the country where poverty and domestic terrorism have ravaged the economy and other means of livelihood.
