Abraham delves into nature and landscape with this painting.  A retreating woman is seen headed toward two silhouetted figures in front of an earthy coloured house flanked by trees.  The landscape is rocky and mountainous and it pins down the relationship between man, his environment and how natural spaces are used.  The appropriation of natural spaces to benefit humanity is the central theme of this piece. Abraham also gives visual texture to the painting in order to enhance the illusory quality of the perceived physical environment.
