Abraham uses the optic and aesthetic effects of colours to explore movements. The painting is an abstract form depicting a group of “bodies” gyrating rhythmically in synergy to an inaudible sound. They emerge from a single duct, proceeds vertically and blossoms into an array of brilliant colours and energetic emissions that defines sensual bodily movements.
Abraham Uyovbisere was born on the 18th of July 1963, in Burutu Delta State. He attended the famous Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Nigeria, where he obtained a Diploma in Fine Arts in 1984 and a Bachelor of Arts Degree (First Class Honours) in 1987.
