Brickhouse II

Like a finely scrapped surface or layer, a town road with three human figures emerge as if previously concealed by time, thin film of pigment and suddenly rediscovered through some archaeological excavation. This time, the artist’s brush does the revealing. Signs of civilization are evident with the electric and television poles propping out from the corners. Warm colours ochre and yellow, an interesting indication that the artist is mostly inspired by daylight, dominate the focal point of this painting.
