I’m a passionate and spirited individual with an avid love of art. A graduate of Microbiology (B.sc) from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta and currently, studying at the University of Ibadan as a Masters student in the Department of Library and Information Studies.
I am the type of individual open to new ideas, experimentation and linking with like-minded artists with the aim to create a better society. I pour my soul into my art and I derive satisfaction from the dynamic reactions of people when they see my artwork. I am a self-taught artist with vast experience in drawing, sketching and painting. I enjoy painting with acrylic media due to its unique effects and drying time compared to other media.
Nothing speaks creativity more than the legendary genius Leonardo da Vinci. He was one of the greatest artists ever to walk the earth and he greatly influenced my art. In the era of contemporary art, I see myself as a conceptual artist. The world is my medium, as such, I draw my motivation from the joy and vicissitudes of life, no human can exist without both and I believe the idea behind the finished artwork is more significant. I tremendously value giving back to society as it gives me a sense of purpose.
I have worked for an environmental Non-profit Organization Green Impact International as an illustrator and currently, I work as a volunteer for another Non-profit group called Rhealyz Naija by providing beautiful and informational artwork on paper; educating primary school kids on morals and personal hygiene, boosting their self-esteem by providing career talks and encouraging them to pursue their dreams. I aim to give back to society and be positively significant in the world.
