Umeh utilizes secondary colours in brisk strokes to show a group of dancing women.  The purple and the ochre colours compliment each other on the opposite ends. This can be seen as ascending dusts or earth, as the dancing becomes intense. Dancing by women is unique to age grades in periods of homing coming, harvests and other traditional festivals.  In this painting, Umeh tries to represent rhythmic movement, pace and colour inherent in this sort of dances.
