Obioma

Obioma is the Igbo word for “kindheartedness”. It is a name given to tailors that carry their sewing machine on their shoulders exchanging sewing services for money. The name was given them because they are not too strict with billing. It is one of three drawings from a series I call – Tailor Series. My parents were once tailors, so I deemed it important to celebrate the profession.
