Another depiction of a waterfront community by the artists but this time in cool colours. The painting calls to mind the Makoko area of Lagos with its distinctive wooden houses floating on top of the Lagos lagoon. Here the space is bare of any human presence but shows remnant or traces of their activities with four canoes in the background and upstream. Yet again, Joe applies his signature, the geometric forms and the central focal area.
