Blue in the dominant colour here as the artist makes another exploration of his subject matter – the serene cityscape. Cold colours predominantly fall outside of the central window that leads the viewer in to the subject. The skyline shares a good measure of this mood and green foliage is interspersed at some distance in the horizon. Joe continues with his almost solitary cityscape concept, as seen in most of his paintings, prompting one to ask where all the inhabitants have gone.
