Mubarak passion for art started when he was in primary school at age 6. He had no conventional training in art and was inspired by my family and friends.
He is a graduate of Economics from the University of Abuja and currently doing his Master’s degree in Science in Economics from the same institution.

Ajide’s interest centres on fine art under which he specializes in portraiture, cultural and emotional arts. His love for magazines and comic books exposed him to various facial expressions. He found out that people are always happy to see their representations in art; this geared him to focus more on portraits because understands that the society we live in is filled with cultural diversity and interesting activities which can be visually expressed in art forms.
Ajide mostly uses Graphite pencil, Charcoal, pastel, oil colour and Acrylic and plans to acquire more equipment to improve to a wider range. He believes that with patience, continuous practice and persistence his Art will be hyper-realistic in the nearest future.

He Won the 7up competition in 2015 and was granted a ticket to the ArtX exhibition held in Lagos Nigeria to view artworks done by other West African Artists. Two of His drawings made it through the judges for Women advocate for Vaccine Access (WAVA) campaign project to eradicate polio in Africa.
