ART 635 Summer Classes

The primary goal of the Art635 gallery is to create a free space where African Artists can showcase and sell their Artwork as well as undergo training and consultations to help them achieve their full potential.

As part of our mission to help young artists, we have arranged summer art classes where young artists can walk in, practice and learn new things.

These art classes are free to attend and are divided into two days:

Art635 Class

Art635 Classes for children, students and young adults.

Fridays: Children Ages 8 and above
Saturdays: University Students and Young Adults
Time: 12pm – 4pm daily
Venue: YouRead Library, 338 Herbert Macaulay Way, Yaba, Lagos

The details of the classes and each week of the workshop are as follows:

Week 1

Date: Friday 17th August & Saturday 18st August 2018
Class: The human form
Structure: Friday classes: Children (8 – 17 years old); Saturday classes: (University Students & Young Adults)

Week 2

Date: Friday 24th August & Saturday 25th August 2018
Class: Photography portfolio review &shirt painting
Structure: Friday classes: Children (8 – 17 years old); Saturday classes: (University Students & Young Adults)

Week 3

Date: Friday 31st August & Saturday 1st September 2018
Class: Paper Arts & Crafts
Structure: Friday classes: Children (8 – 17 years old); Saturday classes: (University Students & Young Adults)

Week 4

Date: Friday 7th September & Saturday 8th September 2018
Class: Live painting
Structure: Friday classes: Children (8 – 17 years old); Saturday classes: (University Students & Young Adults)
